Championship Histories
The following is a visualization of the four major sports leagues (NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL), and repeat championship patterns starting from 1950. The columns start in 1950 and go down to 2018/2019.

In my opinion, the patterns are very interesting. If you know the history of any given league well, you can really pick out certain patterns (like the Bulls two three-peats in the NBA, or Buffalo's tragic four back-to-back Super Bowl losses).
In this article I look at a way to visualize the history of championships.
